The Wisconsin Women's Health Congress is your opportunity to be informed and involved in our statewide effort to raise women's voices. Open to the public, the Women's Health Congress includes presentations from leaders and advocates, updates on the state of women's health policy, and opportunities to network and share relevant events as we work together to advance women's health, safety and economic security in Wisconsin.
Our second virtual Wisconsin Women's Health Congress will be held on Monday, September 27th at 6pm CST. With all eyes on abortion access in Texas and elsewhere, we are grateful to Aprita Appannagari with the National Institute for Reproductive Health who will be joining us to discuss what's at stake with the Supreme Court and efforts deny access to abortion in the United States.
This event will be held virtually, via Zoom and we will provide login instructions to registered participants the day before the event. Please plan to join the event 10 minutes early if you are newly downloading Zoom to allow you to test your audio and camera settings.
6pm - Welcome
6:10pm - Discussion on abortion access with Arpita Appannagari, led by Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health Founder & Executive Director, Sara Finger (to include questions posed through registration process)
6:30pm - Update on State Policy Priorities related to women's health, safety, and economic security provided by Sara Finger
6:50pm - Q & A Session
This event is free but we welcome donations to help support this event and future events to inform, involve, and inspire individuals to be effective advocates for positive change.
