Ensure Wisconsin women have access to the cancer screenings & treatment they need and deserve!
The Wisconsin Well Woman Program (WWWP) provides preventative health care screening services to women with little or no health insurance coverage. WWWP pays for mammograms, Pap tests, and cancer screenings for the most common women's health concerns such as breast and cervical cancer. This life-saving and cost-saving program is administered by the Department of Health Services and was restructured in 2015 to drastically reduce the number of community-based coordinators and available providers. This restructure has led to WWWP enrollment plummeting and logistical challenges for the limited number of local program coordinators. We need the Evers Administration to address the persistent concerns and ensure all Wisconsin women who need screenings and treatment - can access and afford them without barriers!
