Demand Wisconsin Expand Medicaid Now!
Too many Wisconsinites do not have access to quality, affordable health care. However, Wisconsin can significantly reduce that problem and save money at the same time by using available federal funding to make more low-income adults eligible for BadgerCare.
By expanding BadgerCare up to 138% of the Federal Poverty Level, Wisconsin would:
- cover roughly 80,000 more adults and significantly reduce the amount of people who are uninsured
- prevent financial hardships for low-income working adults and families
- reduce health care costs for all Wisconsinites
- save roughly $160 million per year in state tax dollars that we can invest in creating healthier communities
